Company Description

National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC) was incorporated in November 1998 and started commercial operations in December 1998. It took over the assets and liabilities of 220 KV and 500 KV grid stations and transmission lines from Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). NTDC manages fourteen 500 KV and thirty-eight 220 KV grid stations, covering km of 500 KV and km of 220 KV transmission lines across Pakistan. NTDC holds an exclusive transmission license issued by NEPRA, allowing it to engage in the transmission business for thirty years.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Transmission Lines Maintenance located in Peshawar District. The role involves day-to-day responsibilities such as performing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, performing maintenance and repair tasks, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the efficient and safe operation of transmission lines. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and coordination with other team members to resolve maintenance-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills
  • Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma is a plus
  • Experience in the power transmission industry is advantageous
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
