Quality Inspector

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Roles:

1- Quality Control (QC) – Rejection Control

2- Quality Assurance (QA) – Defect Prevention

3- Quality Management (QM) – Continual Improvement

Responsibilities:

1- Quality Control

· Monitoring, inspection & testing at final/in-process stages. (Final inspection / Line Inspection)

· Perform as per standard documents (Operation Standards, Work Instruction etc.)

· Monitor & control that processes are performed with standard process sequence.

· Perform inspection & testing with calibrated instruments. (Final / in-process stages)

· Verify & approve parts as per verified gages, jigs and fixtures. (Final / in-process stages)

· Removal of in-process defects to control rejections

· Removal of variations in manufacturing and checking jigs and fixtures.

· Sort out rejections and report sorted quantities.

· Prepare / verify quality records and reports for proper filling and accuracy.

2- Quality Assurance

· Implement quality plans (calibration plan, verification plan, part audit plan, process control plan, etc.) Calibration plan include measuring instruments. Verification plan includes gages, jigs and fixtures both manufacturing and checking.

· Follow-up of responsibilities assigned in quality plans and action plans.

· Record data of defects and rejection

· Analyze defect using quality tools and take actions to prevent recurrence.

· Verify vendor part's gages, jigs and fixtures.

· Vendor part auditing

· Final Part auditing

· Process control activities using quality tools, including control charts, process capability etc.

· Do follow-ups of actions as assigned

· Give training and increase QA capabilities in associates and workers. Share awareness related to Quality reports and quality issues identified during routine job and follow-ups of actions.

· Give inputs for proper design & development of gauges, jigs & fixtures.

3- Quality Management

· Prepare Standard Documents (Process standards, Operation standards, Work Instruction etc.)

· Standards development for supplier's material and vendor's part.

· Preparation and record keeping of quality records and reports including rejection records, countermeasures and action reports.

Contribute to reduce manufacturing waste (DOWNTIME = Defects, Over-production, Waiting, Not using people well, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Excess processing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs27, Rs30,000.00 per month
