The Accounts Officer will be responsible for day-to-day financial recording, accounting entries, reconciliations, AP/AR management, and supporting monthly closing activities in compliance with internal financial policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts including preparation of daily vouchers.
  • Enter accounting transactions into ERP (SAP B1)
  • Maintain Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable ledgers
  • Process vendor invoices, GRNs and payment requests as per SOPs
  • Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations
  • Support month-end closing, accruals, amortizations, and adjustments
  • Maintain petty cash & reimbursement records
  • Prepare withholding tax & sales tax supporting statements
  • Coordinate with internal departments for invoice approvals and payments
  • Liaison with banks, external auditors, vendors & internal audit
  • Maintain proper filing / record keeping (soft + hard)
  • Prepare financial analysis & MIS reports as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Commerce (B.Com, BBA, BS Accounting, etc.)
  • 1 – 2 years relevant experience in accounting / finance
  • Efficient in MS Excel and ERP accounting system
