Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Finance Manager
to join our finance team in Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, client invoicing, accounts payable/receivable management, financial reporting, and import-related financial processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare bank reconciliation reports regularly.
  • Track all bank deposits, payments, and cash transactions.
  • Maintain records and receipts for all daily financial transactions.
  • Ensure financial records are up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
  • Review financial and statistical reports to support management decisions.
  • Process weekly payments of all authorized purchase invoices and expense claims via BACS.
  • Manage bank and cash operations, including reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Manage client invoicing, payment collections, and vendor payables.
  • Handle import-related financial operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), customs duties, and documentation.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.
  • Support the Finance Manager and senior management in decision-making and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's or ACCA, CMA, or CPA certification preferred).
  • Proven 2–5 years of experience as a Finance Officer, Assistant Finance Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience in handling import transactions, Letters of Credit (LC), and customs documentation is
    mandatory
    .
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with QuickBooks or ERP accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.
  • Solid knowledge of local tax laws, IFRS, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience in technology, electronics, or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
