POSITION SUMMARY

Provide engineering professional and technical leadership in the Factory, ensuring people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised, and that all engineering activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance

Responsible for overseeing and directing the Site Engineering function, encompassing Process operations, Packaging Line Maintenance, Utilities, Warehouses, and facility management. The objective is to enhance plant efficiency, reliability, availability, and performance in a cost-effective manner—while maintaining uncompromising standards in safety, quality, service, and environmental stewardship

A DAY IN THE LIFE …


  2. M&I - Enable high performance Operations, by providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy, as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle
  3. Project Management - Monitor Capital Investments, ensuring justification, request, implementation, start-up by meeting project timelines, reporting aligned with Guidelines. Foster Projects' flexible design to allow adjustment to changing Operation requirements
  4. Industrial Services – Ensure the maintenance & improvement of all utilities machinery installed base of the factory and the optimization with fulfilment of all type of utilities needs of Production plants. All utilities that come/may come in contact with product are treated according to the food safety acceptance criteria
  5. Fixed Asset Planning - Ensure optimum decisions are made/implemented regarding factory assets (including Investment cycle), in alignment with the Market Business Strategy
  6. Optimize Costs- Bring initiatives of cost optimization in the maintenance of machines and lead the localization of spare parts by ensuring their availability.
  7. E&A /MES - Ensure that the electrical services, degree of automation and MES at factory site level, are in line with the Business requirements
  8. Energy/Water/SHE Management - Ensure optimum and sustainable Operations at factory level, by following the Energy/Water Management approach,  driving the corresponding Reporting System, and respecting SHE policies
  9. Process & Packaging Optimization - Drive I&R, initiating/coordinating implementation of new processes/technologies with relevant Market, PTC, Corporate and SBU Engineering
  10. Ensure effective management and supervision of the Engineering Technical Store, complying with Nestlé standards of inventory management
  11. Effective stakeholder management with relevant local authorities, regulatory agencies and compliance to all local laws pertaining to building and utilities.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?


  2. Bachelor of Engineering preferably in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Industrial & Manufacturing
  3. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Factory Engineering
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide technical solutions for problems through equipment/process knowledge
  5. Proven ability leading and working in cross functional teams, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Must be passionate about their people, consumers, products and community and display a caring attitude.
  7. Must have a strong work ethic, self-starter, integrity, total honesty and total quality.
