Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Operator. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data into our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Inputting and updating data accurately into Excel spreadsheets or databases.
  • Verifying the accuracy of data entered and making necessary corrections or adjustments.
  • Organizing and maintaining files and records.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security at all times.
  • Performing regular data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assisting with data cleanup and migration projects as needed.
  • Generating reports and summaries from data as requested.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding data handling and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and best practices is a plus.
