Job Purpose:

The Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of equipment, containers, and yard infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform regular inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of yard equipment

· Carry out repairs on containers (structural, mechanical, and minor electrical).

· Ensure proper maintenance of yard utilities and support systems.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.

· Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requirements.

· Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.

· Assist in inventory management of tools, spare parts, and consumables.

· Support operational teams to ensure minimal disruption in yard activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Diploma/Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology.

· –4 years of relevant experience in container yard, logistics, or heavy equipment maintenance.

· Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, hydraulics, or basic electrical systems (preferred).

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work in outdoor/yard environment.

· Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance.
