Job Description: Mid-Level Software Engineer (Automation & Tooling)

We are a focused technology team building innovative systems for data monitoring and user engagement. We are looking for a highly driven, mid-level Software Engineer who takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic, self-directed environment.

About You:

You are a quick learner with a proactive, "get-it-done" attitude. You enjoy building robust automation systems and the tools that support them. You are discrete, aligned with our project's core mission, and eager to take ownership of a significant part of our technology stack. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is comfortable working with modern web technologies and asynchronous programming to create scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain sophisticated browser automation systems.

· Build internal tools for operation management and real-time data monitoring.

· Integrate with various third-party APIs and services.

· Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and scale our core platforms.

Required Qualifications:

· Proven proficiency in Python.

· Solid understanding of asynchronous programming in Python (async/await).

· Working knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

· Basic SQL skills (able to write queries with joins and complex select statements).

· Comfortable working with APIs and data services.

· A keen understanding of modern web platforms and how content is structured and engaged with.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

· Experience with browser automation and testing libraries such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium.

· Familiarity with prompting and integrating with Large Language Models (LLMs).

· In-depth knowledge of the structure and interaction patterns of major social and content platforms.

Position Details:

This role begins as a part-time engagement. For the right candidate who demonstrates the skillset, drive, and ownership we are looking for, there is a strong potential to transition into a full-time, leadership role. You will have the opportunity to eventually take full ownership of one of our core automation platforms.
