Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Website Developer based in Karachi. The Website Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites to meet client requirements and improve the user experience. Day-to-day tasks include creating user-friendly and visually appealing website layouts, implementing responsive design, performing website maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the design and marketing teams to optimize web performance and functionality. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous focus on delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Strong understanding of website design principles, UX/UI design, and responsive web design
  • Experience with backend development using programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Ruby, and familiarity with databases like MySQL or MongoDB
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience in debugging and problem-solving
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and optimizing websites for performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with e-commerce development and payment gateway integration is an added advantage
