Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead and manage our entire IT infrastructure across multiple locations. The role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and optimization of our network infrastructure, physical servers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to align IT operations with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Network Management

Oversee, maintain, and optimize the company's network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, etc.) across all branches.

Ensure secure, reliable connectivity between head office, branch offices, and remote users.

Monitor and manage bandwidth, up time, and network performance to minimize downtime.

Server & Systems Administration

Manage physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux environments).

Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Maintain and optimize storage systems, virtualisation, and security patches.

ERP System (SAP B1)

Ensure seamless and secure user access to ERP system across all company locations.

Work with ERP administrators/consultants for performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Implement user access policies, role-based permissions, and integration optimization.

IT Security & Compliance

Establish and enforce IT security policies (firewalls, endpoint protection, access control).

Protect sensitive company data, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

Proactively identify and mitigate IT risks, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.

Leadership & Strategy

Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring skill development and productivity.

Develop and manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts.

Define IT roadmaps aligned with company growth and digital transformation goals.

Report IT performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in IT leadership/management.

Strong expertise in:

Networking (Cisco/HP/Juniper, Firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancers).

Server Management (Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V).

ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) – user management, access, performance optimization.

Knowledge of IT security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR compliance).

Proven experience in managing multi-location IT operations.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

CCNP/CCIE (Cisco) or equivalent in networking.

MCSE / RHCE / VMware certification.

ITIL v4 for IT service management.

Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

Location & Travel

  • Based at DHA Phase 07 Lahore, with travel to branch locations as required.
