Develop and execute a risk-based annual audit plan for operations.

Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes including Stock/inventory, procurement, distribution, sales, receivables, and cash handling.

Ensure timely completion of internal audit assignments in accordance with audit standards.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify weaknesses.

Recommend improvements to strengthen control systems, prevent fraud, and mitigate risks.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and company policies.

Identify key risks in wholesale operations such as stock pilferage, pricing discrepancies, vendor dealings, and customer credit exposures.

Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and monitor implementation.

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.

Present audit results to senior management.

Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of audit issues.

Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Review wholesale industry-specific processes such as supplier contracts, warehouse operations, and logistics.

Recommend automation and system improvements for efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2 years in a lead role (wholesale/textile industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in inventory management audits, supplier/vendor audits, and cash cycle audits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, auditing software.
