Job Title: Business Development Manager (E-commerce)

Location: DHA - Karachi

Core Duties:

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and grow the company's presence in e-commerce platforms (B2B and B2C).

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances in the e-commerce ecosystem (marketplaces, logistics, payment gateways, digital marketing agencies, etc.).

  • Manage relationships with key e-commerce platforms (e.g., Daraz, Amazon, Shopify, local marketplaces) and negotiate commercial terms.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to recommend new product opportunities.

  • Drive online sales growth by collaborating with marketing and product teams to improve online visibility, promotions, and campaigns.

  • Prepare business proposals, pitch presentations, and commercial agreements for new partnerships.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management.

  • Achieve revenue and growth targets in line with organizational objectives.

Ensure seamless onboarding and account management of e-commerce partners and clients.

  • Stay updated with digital commerce technologies, consumer behavior, and market dynamics

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce business models, online marketplaces, and digital sales channels.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnerships within e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or related industries.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms.
