Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced IoT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IoT smart devices such as bulbs, cameras, and appliances, along with strong proficiency in Python. This role involves developing and implementing IoT connectivity solutions, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and integrating wireless communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IoT connectivity solutions, including data acquisition, cloud integration, and remote monitoring.
  • Integrate wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,and thread based devices into IoT systems.
  • Work with smart devices including smart bulbs, cameras, and other IoT appliances to enhance connectivity and functionality.
  • Verify PCBAs and conduct necessary testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Use AutoCAD for designing and analyzing circuit layouts and enclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and conceptualize new IoT product ideas.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of hardware and software issues.
  • Generate technical reports, user manuals, and design specifications for project progress and outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python for IoT applications and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT smart devices, including setup, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Home Assistant for IoT automation and smart home integration.
  • Experience in PCB verification, hardware testing, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD for PCB and IoT device design.
  • Understanding of wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based IoT platforms.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for IoT devices.
