About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to lead the research and data entry operations for a cutting-edge sports and entertainment event analysis tool. This role is central to understanding and quantifying the thematic and commercial impacts of major global events.

You'll be working closely with international clients and stakeholders involved in large-scale sports, business and culture events, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact, globally visible projects.

You will be responsible for overseeing the management of data entry into the company's proprietary data management system (DMS), ensuring that all data is populated to a defined volume and that it is accurate, relevant, properly sourced and aligned with internal quality standards. You will be logging DMS issues along the way to further enhance the system and identify areas for future development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research and data entry for our sports event analysis platform
  • Collect, clean and structured data related to global sports events and their commercial impact
  • Conduct thematic analysis to identify trends and insights
  • Collaborate with product and strategy teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance
  • Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders
  • Issue logging and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Research Analyst
  • Strong skills in data collection, cleaning, and analysis
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Interest or experience in the sports and event industry is highly desirable
