About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on
Sr. Auto Electrical Technician
to lead our complete Auto Electrical Department for specialized and hydro-electric vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise and guide a team of 8–15 Auto Electricians & Technicians
  • Complete electrical wiring & integration of specialized vehicles (12V, 24V & basic high-voltage systems)
  • Read, understand, and work exactly as per electrical drawings, harness layouts & schematics
  • Modify and red-line drawings on-site whenever required and get them approved by Engineering
  • Design and route complete vehicle wiring harnesses for new prototypes and variants
  • Install and commission PTO-driven generators, beacon lights, sirens, pumps, hydraulic controls, cameras, telematics, and special equipment
  • Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex electrical issues in fire-fighting, recovery, and defence vehicles
  • Coordinate with Design/Engineering department for drawing corrections and BOM updates
  • Train junior technicians and maintain discipline & 6S on the electrical shop floor
  • Ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery of every vehicle leaving the electrical bay
  • Maintain inventory of electrical spares and consumables.

Qualification:

  • DAE (3 years) or B.Tech in
    Auto Electrician
  • Minimum 8–15 years
    of hands-on experience in auto electrical wiring of commercial/special-purpose vehicles
  • At least
    3–5 years in a Lead / In-Charge / Supervisory role
  • Proven track record of leading a team in a vehicle manufacturing company (fire tenders, recovery vehicles, ambulances, defence vehicles will be highly preferred)
  • Excellent command over reading and working from electrical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of relays, sensors, actuators, lighting systems, and battery management
