Position Name: Mid-Senior Level AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities:

Hands-on, independent contributor who can take up AI/GenAI tasks with minimal supervision.

Should be able to own full AI pipelines, collaborate with clients, and jump between research and production code.

Core Technical Skills:

Python (must-have)

Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow

GenAI Tooling:

Hugging Face Transformers

LangChain / LlamaIndex

OpenAI / Azure OpenAI APIs

Prompt Engineering + LLM fine-tuning / instruction-tuning

Data Preprocessing + NLP pipelines

Deployment: Streamlit / FastAPI / Docker

Basic understanding of MLOps and model serving

Version control, JIRA, GitHub, CI/CD (for smooth delivery)

Soft Skills:

Self-starter with ownership mentality

Able to work on multiple projects

Communicates well with non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for various client use cases.

Build GenAI applications using tools like LangChain, OpenAI, and Hugging Face.

Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for specific tasks and domains.

Write clean, modular Python code for experimentation and production.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend/frontend/PMs) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Assist in scoping and planning new AI projects, occasionally interfacing with clients.

Contribute to internal R&D and reusable AI components.

Must-Have Skills:

2–3 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience

Strong Python skills and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)

Experience with GenAI tools (LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs)

Good understanding of NLP pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, and model serving

Comfort with version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and modern dev workflows

Nice to Have:

Experience deploying apps using FastAPI or Streamlit

Familiarity with MLOps pipelines and model lifecycle management

Previous consulting/client-facing experience
