We are seeking a highly skilled Incorta Data Architect with deep expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and business intelligence platforms, specifically the Incorta Data Platform and Power BI. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of an end-to-end Business Intelligence solution, including building a robust Data Lake and delivering curated organizational data to enable actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Incorta schemas, business views, and dashboards for rapid data ingestion and real-time analytics.
  • Integrate Incorta with existing Data Warehouse and Power BI workflows to ensure unified and efficient reporting.
  • Develop and manage multiple data zones including Landing Zone, Curated Data Zone, Reference & Lookup Data Zone, and Business Views / Semantic Layer.
  • Build ETL pipelines using SSIS, Incorta, and other tools to cleanse, validate, and conform data.
  • Finalize Data Warehouse/Data Lake schemas with indexing, relationships, historical tracking (SCD), and partitioning to optimize performance.
  • Connect Power BI to data sources, apply advanced data shaping and modeling techniques (DAX, Power Query), and implement role-based access control.
  • Integrate diverse data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, APIs, and cloud services with Incorta and Power BI.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, flows, and operational procedures.
  • Provide regular updates and collaborate closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer with advanced skills in data modeling and architecture.
  • Strong expertise with the Incorta Data Platform including schema design, data ingestion, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in Power BI with strong skills in DAX and Power Query for advanced reporting.
  • Experience designing and managing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with layered zones.
  • Skilled in ETL development using SSIS and other tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, indexing, partitioning, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
  • Knowledge of data security best practices, role-based access, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
