Internship – Trucking

As an intern on our Trucking & Dispatch Sales team, you will get exposure to the logistics and freight-dispatch industry while supporting our growth in sales and carrier/owner-operator onboarding. You will assist in lead generation, client outreach, supporting the dispatch team and learning how load assignments, trucking networks and dispatch operations work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in lead generation: research prospective carriers, fleet owners and trucking companies.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails or social-media outreach to identify interest in our dispatch services (e.g., in the U.S. market)
• Support sales team in qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and converting leads into clients.
• Help negotiate basic terms and service agreements (under supervision).
• Liaise with the dispatch/operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients (carrier paperwork, service setup, etc.).
• Maintain CRM or lead-tracking spreadsheets: update status, document interactions and follow-up actions.
• Shadow and learn dispatch operations: e.g., assigning loads, monitoring delivery status, communicating with drivers and brokers.
• Monitor market trends in trucking/dispatch (e.g., freight rates, lanes, load-board activity) and report findings.
• Meet weekly/monthly targets for outreach and conversions (as defined by the mentor).

Qualifications & Skills

• Fresh graduates
• Excellent verbal & written communication in English.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working non-standard hours/night shift if the role supports U.S. time zones.
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
