Position:

Senior Shopify Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive front-end components using Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code without relying heavily on frameworks like jQuery
  • Build and customize Shopify themes using Shopify Liquid
  • Integrate and configure Shopify Apps and features via Shopify API.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Shopify issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and maintain integrations with marketing and analytics tools
  • Develop responsive and accessible front-end styling using Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling.
  • Use Git to manage code versioning, collaborate with team members, and handle branching, pull requests, and merge conflicts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Shopify Development
  • 3+ years of experience in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience creating and customizing sections, blocks, and templates, including integration with Shopify Apps and using the Shopify API.
  • Implementation of platforms such as Google Analytics, Mention Me, Klaviyo, and other marketing tools.
  • Use of methodologies like BEM, SMACSS, or Atomic Design, and experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control and team collaboration.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • A desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Advanced proficiency in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Deep understanding of Shopify's API, app ecosystem, and theme customization.
  • Proven expertise in performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals and SEO best practices.
