We are looking for Shopify Developer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer with strong front-end development skills and hands-on experience in customizing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should be proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress, with a strong understanding of modern web design principles and Shopify Liquid templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, pixel-perfect front-end designs.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, Shopify apps, and custom plugins as needed.
  • Optimize site performance, loading speed, and SEO.
  • Customize WordPress-based landing pages or microsites when required.
  • Implement modern web practices and maintain cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Work with backend teams or external APIs to ensure seamless data integration.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Shopify stores.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (themes, templates, and custom front-end development).
  • Knowledge of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and Shopify Plus is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and development best practices.
  • Understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
