About Us:

We are building an innovative quiz and exam preparation app for cadet colleges and military school entrance exams. The app currently supports multiple-choice questions across subjects (Mathematics, Science, English, Urdu, Intelligence). Our next milestone is to enable subjective question handling, where students can upload handwritten answers that AI will read, understand, and evaluate with meaningful feedback.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a fresh graduate AI developer with strong interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision AI, and Dataset Grounding. You will work on building a pipeline where student handwriting is converted into text, interpreted by AI, and scored against model answers using grounded LLM techniques.

This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone eager to learn, experiment, and grow while applying AI to real-world educational problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement multimodal LLMs with vision capabilities (e.g., GPT-4o, Gemini, Claude with vision, BLIP, Donut).
  • Develop pipelines to extract, clean, and normalize text from handwritten answers.
  • Use LLMs + NLP for semantic similarity, scoring, and automated feedback.
  • Ground LLM responses using your dataset through fine-tuning or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Work with embeddings and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) for contextual grounding.
  • Experiment with parameter-efficient fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT) to adapt open-source models.
  • Integrate OCR fallback methods (Tesseract, EasyOCR, Google Vision) when needed.
  • Deploy models into production via APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Docker).
  • Continuously test and optimize for accuracy, fairness, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
  • Understanding of transformer-based models (BERT, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.).
  • Familiarity with LLMs & APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
  • Exposure to multimodal/vision models and image preprocessing (OpenCV, PIL).
  • Knowledge of embeddings and vector search.
  • Problem-solving mindset with eagerness to learn new AI methods.
  • Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
    Hands-on projects with handwriting recognition or multimodal LLMs.
  • Experience with fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, PEFT, adapters).
  • Knowledge of RAG pipelines using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Familiarity with cloud AI services (AWS Rekognition, Google Vision, Azure Cognitive).
  • Interest in EdTech and improving student learning outcomes.
