Our digital presence is one of the most important assets we have. We run high-impact campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms to raise critical funds for women in crisis zones.

We are now recruiting a highly skilled, META-certified Social Media Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our social media ecosystem and digital advertising outputs.

This is a senior, specialist role, responsible for protecting, managing, and growing the digital platforms that drive our fundraising and public engagement.

About the Role

The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing and protecting the organisation's digital assets, including Meta Business Manager, Ads Manager, and all social media pages.
• Leading paid advertising across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other key channels.
• Ensuring full compliance with Meta policies to prevent account blocks, restrictions, and performance issues.
• Executing high-quality, high-return fundraising and awareness campaigns.
• Working closely with UK HQ to align messaging, branding, and strategy.

This role is critical to the stability and success of Forgotten Women's fundraising operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Meta Ads Management

• Manage Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager with full compliance.
• Build, launch, monitor, and optimise paid campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
• Maintain strong structure: tracking, events, pixels, conversions, and CAPI.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and growth plans.

2. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure 100% adherence to Meta's advertising policies.
• Immediately investigate and resolve any warning, restriction, or compliance issues.
• Manage appeals and reinstatement processes if accounts are flagged or blocked.
• Implement a strict quality-control system to prevent repeated violations.

3. Content Strategy & Social Media Management

• Manage daily posting, scheduling, and platform growth across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Work with the UK Digital Team to ensure brand consistency and campaign accuracy.
• Oversee creative assets for ads: copywriting, visuals, hooks, thumbnails, and storytelling.

4. Analytics & Performance

• Track KPIs including reach, CTR, ROAS, conversions, engagement, CPC/CPM.
• Use Meta Analytics, Google Analytics, and TikTok Insights to improve performance.
• Identify growth opportunities, best-performing content, and audience insights.

5. Team Collaboration & Oversight

• Coordinate with Pakistan and UK teams regarding content, approvals, and campaign rollouts.
• Provide training to junior team members on compliance and advertising best practices.
• Lead crisis recovery and ensure digital safeguards are in place at all times.

Person Specification

Essential

• META Certified (Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate, Media Buying, or similar).
• Minimum 4+ years professional experience running paid ads across Facebook/Instagram.
• Proven ability to recover restricted accounts and maintain compliance.
• Strong understanding of Meta Business Manager, Ads Manager, Events Manager, Pixels, and CAPI.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage high-budget campaigns.
• Experience managing multi-platform organic content strategy.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with charities, humanitarian campaigns, or Islamic fundraising.
• Experience with TikTok Ads, Google Ads, and multi-channel paid media.
• Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
