Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join its Audit team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and supporting management through independent and objective audit assessments in line with the Trust's mission and values.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with the approved internal audit plan.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, systems, and procedures.
- Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Document audit findings with appropriate supporting evidence and prepare draft audit reports.
- Prepare detailed audit working papers and assist in drafting clear and concise audit reports.
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and closure.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain information and resolve audit-related queries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
- CA (Inter), ACCA, ICMA, or CIA will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related domain.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/audit software.
- High standards of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.
