Key Responsibilities

Device & System Setup

  • Prepare and configure laptops for new joiners
  • Install necessary software & development tools
  • Manage device security (encryption, antivirus, updates)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory (laptops, chargers, monitors, etc.)

Network & Security

  • Manage office Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls
  • Block restricted websites (WhatsApp Web, social media, etc.)
  • Prevent hotspot usage and unauthorized devices
  • Monitor network performance & escalate issues
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices

Access & Account Management

  • Create and manage: Google Workspace accounts
  • Slack / Teams / GitHub access
  • Remove access for exiting employees
  • Enforce strong password & MFA policies

Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot laptop/software issues
  • Fix Wi-Fi, printer, email, and configuration problems
  • Asist engineering, design, and management teams with IT needs
  • Provide fast turnaround support across the company

IT Operations

  • Set up VPN, monitoring tools, and internal security tools

  • Install licensed software and manage renewals

  • Maintain data security and backup practices

  • Coordinate with vendors when needed (internet, hardware, repairs)

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in IT support or system administration
  • Good understanding of networking (routers, DHCP, firewalls)
  • Knowledge of macOS + Windows
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace / Microsoft 365
  • Ability to block websites & apply network restrictions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Basic cybersecurity understanding
  • Reliable, organized, and proactive
