Umar Textiles is a leading manufacturer in Pakistan's textile industry, known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Data Entry Officer to support our Finance & Accounts team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and verify financial data in accounting systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
  • Maintain records of daily transactions, payments, and receipts.
  • Support reconciliation of bank statements and vendor ledgers.
  • Assist the finance team during month-end and year-end closing.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and follow company financial policies.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors, ensuring all information is accurate and properly filed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify financial data.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Entry or Accounts Support, preferably in the Textile Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (ERP preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Location: DHA Phase 8, Karachi, Pakistan

Shift: 11am – 7pm
