Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems & Reporting

Conduct audits of financial systems, records, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Review and reconcile banking transactions, general ledger entries, and trial balances.

Audit purchases, receivables, payables, and other financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.

Verify ERP entries, vouchers, and supporting documents for correctness and compliance.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.

Monitor segregation of duties, approvals, and compliance with internal financial policies.

Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

Implement check-and-balance mechanisms to reduce errors, fraud, or financial misstatements.

Operational Audits

Audit stock, inventory records, and warehouse documentation to ensure accuracy of physical counts versus system records.

Verify stock movement including purchases, sales, returns, and adjustments.

Review notes, credit/debit memos, and other financial documents for authenticity and compliance.

Examine samples sent, marketing/operational expenses, and reconcile them against accounting records.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Provide recommendations to improve ERP workflows and transaction recording.

Ensure financial entries align with supporting evidence and business operations.

Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and corrective action plans.

Collaborate with finance and operations teams to implement corrective measures.
