Role Overview

The Internal Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the company's financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a senior-level role requiring proven leadership experience at the CFO or equivalent level in a reputable organization. The candidate must bring strategic insight along with strong auditing and risk management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit plan for the company.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Review financial and operational processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with SECP, PSX, FBR, and other regulations.
  • Provide independent and objective evaluations of financial statements, reports, and internal systems.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
  • Recommend improvements in governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Ensure accountability, ethical standards, and best practices across all business functions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role — preferably having served as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a listed company or financial institution.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, audit, and corporate governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the brokerage/financial services sector, SECP laws, and PSX regulations.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity in all reviews.
