Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Game QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. The QA Tester will be responsible for thoroughly testing video games to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues. The role involves working closely with developers, designers, and producers to ensure a polished and high-quality gaming experience for end-users.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Playtest games systematically to identify, reproduce, and document bugs, crashes, or glitches.
  • Report issues clearly and accurately using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello).
  • Verify fixes and retest reported issues to ensure resolution.
  • Test different game components including gameplay mechanics, graphics, UI, sound, and performance.
  • Provide feedback on playability, balance, difficulty, and user experience.
  • Conduct platform-specific testing (PC, console, mobile).
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing features.
  • Collaborate with developers, artists, and producers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow test plans, checklists, and QA procedures consistently.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for gaming with strong knowledge of different game genres and platforms.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and issues quickly.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written) to document and report bugs effectively.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, TestRail).
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • 12PM to 9PM
