Cogent Labs is hiring Generative AI Engineers for its Lahore office.

Must-Have

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows (beyond low-code/no-code platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier)
  • Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar Python-based libraries/frameworks
  • Experience with tool calling, autonomous decision-making, and AI action execution — not just passive content generation
  • Skilled in prompt engineering (including ReAct agents, structured prompting, and context optimization)
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine-tuning LLMs
  • Exposure to multi-modal systems (chat, voice, vision, or hybrid integrations)
  • Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data (e.g., document parsing and structured outputs using Pydantic)
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools or AI IDEs to streamline workflows
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of building and scaling AI-driven solutions

Good to Have

  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, multi-agent pipelines, or agent-to-agent (A2A) coordination
  • Experience contributing to MLOps pipelines, especially model deployment and production readiness
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles on AI projects

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
