About Us

Potomac Edge is building a next-generation 
AI-powered real estate platform
 designed to transform property analysis for investors and realtors. We are seeking a 
part-time ML/AI Engineer
 to design valuation logic and integrate conversational AI features into our MVP.

Role Overview

As an ML/AI Engineer, you'll contribute to 
core intelligence features
 like property valuations, rental income predictions, and conversational AI capabilities. This role may be combined with Fullstack if the candidate has overlapping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement 
    valuation logic models
     using available real estate data.
  • Integrate 
    conversational AI
     via OpenAI API (prompt engineering, Q&A).
  • Collaborate with developers to implement models into frontend/backend.
  • Assist in planning for future predictive analytics (price forecasting, appreciation models).

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with 
    machine learning frameworks
     (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with 
    OpenAI API, LLM integration, or prompt engineering
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    data preprocessing, model design, and deployment
    .
  • Bonus: Familiarity with real estate datasets and investment models.
