We are seeking an experienced
Odoo ERP Developer & Consultant
proficient in the
latest Odoo versions (v15–v19)
to support our ERP implementation project on a
remote, 6-month to 1 year target-based contract
. The successful candidate will collaborate with the
Senior Odoo ERP Consultant
and key departmental stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy customized Odoo modules aligned with business workflows and compliance standards, including
ZATCA, VAT, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001
.

This is a
hands-on technical role
focusing on module development, system integration, performance optimization, and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development & Customization

  • Develop and customize Odoo v19 modules according to business and functional specifications.
  • Implement new features and workflows using
    Python, Odoo ORM, XML, and JavaScript
    .
  • Create and maintain
    custom dashboards, automated scripts, and reports
    to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure all development follows
    Odoo best practices
    with clean, modular, and reusable code.

Integration & API Development

  • Design and manage
    API integrations
    with third-party systems (e.g., CRM, HR, accounting, payment gateways).
  • Develop
    RESTful services
    to enable secure and seamless data exchange.
  • Ensure all integrations comply with
    ISO 27001
    information security standards.

System Configuration & Deployment

  • Configure Odoo modules, workflows, and user access roles.
  • Support
    testing, debugging, data migration, and deployment
    (using Git or ).
  • Participate in
    UAT, go-live, and issue-resolution
    activities.

Collaboration & Requirement Analysis

  • Work closely with the
    Senior Odoo ERP Consultant
    to interpret functional and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with business teams to validate and refine deliverables.
  • Communicate with end-users as needed to confirm functionality and performance.

Compliance & Localization

  • Implement
    Saudi localization
    modules to ensure compliance with
    ZATCA e-invoicing (Phase 2)
    ,
    VAT
    , and
    GOSI
    .
  • Align all development with
    ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
    and
    ISO Information Security)
    frameworks.
  • Adhere to internal
    data protection and coding standards
    .

Support, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide
    post-implementation support
    , including troubleshooting and bug fixes.
  • Manage
    performance optimization, version upgrades, and patch deployments
    .
  • Propose technical enhancements to improve ERP scalability and long-term stability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Software Engineering
    , or related field.
  • 3–5+ years
    of proven Odoo ERP development experience (v15–v19 preferred).
  • Strong command of
    Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoo ORM
    .
  • Experience with
    QWeb reporting
    ,

    ,
    Git
    , and
    API integration
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Saudi localization (ZATCA, VAT, GOSI)
    .
  • Understanding of
    ISO 9001
    and
    ISO 27001
    standards.
  • Excellent
    analytical, debugging, and communication
    skills (English required; Arabic preferred).
  • Self-driven and deadline-oriented
    , with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
