Experienced Senior Business Analyst that can lead the process of gathering and documenting requirements for complex government IT projects. Experience in system interoperability and data integration is essential. The expert must have experience of analysing and documenting interoperability use cases to define requirements for data exchange between systems. The expert must be able to analyse system data models and abstract standard elements required for data exchange and translate these into technical documentation that guides requirements for system integration.

Key Tasks:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements and deliverables

  • Translating business needs into technical specifications

  • Designing, implementing and maintaining reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making

  • Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and create recommendations for strategic and operational improvements.

  • Preparing detailed reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends

  • Documenting use cases that define requirements for data exchange between IT systems, including the purpose for the exchange, the data to be exchanged and the protocol for the data exchange

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation required for standardising interoperability between IT systems.

Qualifications:

1) Education/Training : - Bachelor's in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. (8 points) - 2 certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC) (2 points)

2) Language : - English (4 points)and Urdu (3 points) at C1 level (based on CEFR levels) - one expert of Punjabi (1 points), one expert of Sindhi (1 points), one expert of Pashto (1 points) at C1 level

3) General Professional Experience : - 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. (7 points) 3 years of experience in eliciting requirements and testing. (3 points)

4) Specific Professional Experience : - 2 years of experience working with government (7 points) - 1 year of experience working in social protection (3 points)

5) Leadership/Management Experience : - 2 years experience of leading a team Not applicable

6) Professional experience in the country/region of assignment : - 5 years' experience working in Pakistan as a Senior Business Analyst (7 points) - 1 year of experience working with government social protection agencies(3 points)

7) Development cooperation experience : - 1 year of experience working in development cooperation projects
