What is Assistant Manager DevOps – MMBL?

Assistant Manager DevOps is responsible for first-level support of all applications (both In-House and Third-Party), managing production and disaster recovery environments, and ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of applications. The role also requires hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Self-Hosted Agents, while leading a proactive DevOps team focused on operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.

What Assistant Manager DevOps – MMBL Does?

Application & Environment Management

• Provide first-level support for all In-House and Third-Party applications.
• Manage production environments and ensure stability and availability.
• Manage disaster recovery (DR) environments and synchronize with live systems.
• Deploy new portals/applications (In-House/Third-Party).
• Monitor application servers and optimize performance.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain records of complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and audit recommendations (SBP/External).
• Fix security vulnerabilities as per Information Security (IS) reports.
• Enforce and adhere to change management and information security policies.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for third-party systems and ensure timely ticket resolution.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to enhance application performance and user satisfaction.

DevOps Leadership & Automation

• Lead and manage the DevOps team with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure Self-Hosted Agents for deployment and automation tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across DevOps practices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Assistant Manager DevOps - MMBL?

Required Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Computer Science / Software Engineering from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 3 years of IT experience, preferably in Application Management & Support.
• Experience in software development is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Self-Hosted Agents.
