Position Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: On-site – Gulberg Greens, Islamabad

Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)

Experience Required: 3-5 years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
DevOps Engineer
with
3–5 years of hands-on experience
to join our dynamic team. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of applications and systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, etc.).
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes and application performance.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in infrastructure and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting.
  • Strong experience with version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation and IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, etc.).
  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
