Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in different locations in Texas for a Project Manager.

Key responsibilities for Site Supervisor will be:

  • Manage day-to-day construction site activities and ensure they are carried out safely and in accordance with project specification
  • Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Hire competitive sub-contractors and labor as needed for the project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction and provide solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports and invoices to the office for review.
  • Assist with the preparation of construction schedules and budgets.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the site.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and promptly report any delays or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on on-site supervision and project management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Applicants must be at least 50 years of age
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Candidates with expertise in primavera P6 will be preferred
