Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the full procurement process – from material requests to vendor selection, purchase orders, and delivery.
  2. Use Oracle NetSuite ERP for PRs, POs, vendor creation, purchase contracts, and payment tracking. Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan material requirements.
  3. Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors, and prepare comparison sheets for approval.
  4. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  5. Prepare and manage procurement and subcontractor contracts.
  6. Monitor contract performance, variations, and renewals with support from Legal and Finance teams.
  7. Ensure materials are delivered on time to avoid project delays.
  8. Maintain procurement records and generate regular reports through Oracle NetSuite.
  9. Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Engineers to support project needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Experience in procurement and contracts within construction or real estate projects.

  • Proficient in Oracle NetSuite ERP.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of construction materials and project timelines.
