Junior Data Engineer (with RPA expertise)

Contract Type: One-Month Contract-to-Hire

Location: Onsite – Lahore, Pakistan

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with skills in Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The role begins as a one-month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance. The candidate should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in data engineering and automation.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines for ETL processes.


• Support integration of RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) into workflows.


• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.


• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks.


• Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes.


• Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications.


• Work with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.


• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering or automation.


• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.


• Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath preferred).


• Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and APIs.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Ability to work onsite in Lahore and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:


• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).


• Experience with version control systems (Git).


• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).


• Strong communication and documentation skills.
