Shopify Developer (Customization & POD Focus)

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to help customize and optimize our print-on-demand (POD) store. Our products (t-shirts, socks, collars, etc.) require customer-facing customization options—such as uploading their own designs, adding personalized text, and previewing changes before checkout.

Responsibilities

  • Customize Shopify product pages to support POD personalization (image uploads, text customization, live previews, etc.).
  • Configure and integrate Shopify plugins/apps for product personalization, order flow, and checkout experience.
  • Work with our current Theme in Blue setup and adjust layouts, styling, and functionality where needed.
  • Optimize product page UX for ease of use (mobile & desktop).
  • Troubleshoot theme/plugin compatibility issues.
  • Provide recommendations on the best Shopify apps or custom code solutions to achieve required features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (theme customization, Liquid, CSS, HTML, JS).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Shopify product personalization apps (e.g., Product Personalizer, Zepto, Customily, Inkybay, or similar).
  • Experience integrating plugins and customizing them to match store requirements.
  • Familiarity with print-on-demand workflows (POD apps, order fulfillment).
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on POD stores like Pupsocks, Printful, Printify integrations.
  • UI/UX sense to create smooth product customization experiences.
  • Previous work with personalization previews (dynamic mockups).
