About Us

Programmers Lab is a professional IT & Training Institute committed to providing industry-relevant courses to empower students with practical skills. We are launching a Medical Billing & Coding course and are looking for an experienced Medical Billing Instructor to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures on Medical Billing & Coding, healthcare systems, and insurance claim processes.
  • Teach students about ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes, claim submission, denials, and re-submission procedures.
  • Provide practical training on medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, Medisoft, AdvancedMD, Epic).
  • Prepare course materials, assignments, and case studies for effective learning.
  • Guide students on freelancing, outsourcing, and career opportunities in medical billing.
  • Monitor student progress and provide mentorship where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Medical Sciences, or relevant field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in medical billing/coding (minimum 1–2 years, US-based billing preferred).
  • Familiarity with international healthcare systems, HIPAA compliance, and insurance claim lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Prior teaching or training experience will be a plus.
