Role Summary
Blu Sky VA is a US-registered Agency with operations in Pakistan. Having successfully scaled in the US Real Estate niche, we are now expanding into E-commerce Virtual Assistant Services (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Etsy).
The Head of E-commerce will be responsible for building and leading this new division from the ground up. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, client management, and leadership skills. You will be accountable for launching, managing, and scaling Blu Sky's E-commerce services, ensuring client satisfaction, sales growth, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Division Setup & Strategy
Lead the launch of Blu Sky's E-commerce division by October 2025.
Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies for the division.
Build SOPs, workflows, and playbooks for e-commerce services.
Set and track KPIs for team members and clients.
Client Management
Oversee onboarding of all e-commerce clients (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Etsy).
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client goals, pain points, and expectations.
Design and implement strategies to increase client sales, optimize ads, and boost retention rates.
Act as the primary point of escalation for client issues and ensure quick resolution.
Deliver clear reporting and insights to clients on performance.
E-commerce Operations
Manage Amazon FBA/FBM accounts: product research, sourcing, listings, PPC campaigns, reviews, inventory.
Oversee Shopify store operations: product uploads, SEO, CRO, order management, automation, email flows.
Guide Etsy/Walmart sellers on listings, SEO, store management.
Leverage AI-powered tools for research, SEO, and customer service automation.
Team Leadership
Hire, train, and manage a team of e-commerce VAs (Amazon, Shopify, PPC, Design).
Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and continuous learning.
Provide mentorship and career growth opportunities to the team.
Revenue & Growth
Develop and implement pricing packages and upsell strategies.
Ensure clients achieve measurable ROI, driving long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to acquire new clients.
Take ownership of division revenue targets.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
5+ years of proven experience in managing Amazon/Shopify/Walmart/Etsy accounts.
Prior leadership experience managing teams of 5+ people.
Demonstrated track record of growing sales, optimizing ads, and scaling stores.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Amazon FBA/FBM operations (Helium10, JungleScout, Seller Central).
Shopify store management, CRO, SEO, Klaviyo/email marketing automation.
PPC management (Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
Familiarity with Etsy/Walmart Seller platforms.
Knowledge of AI-driven tools for research, listings, and customer support.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication & client-facing presentation skills.
Strong leadership and team-building ability.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Problem-solver, able to handle escalations with composure.
