The MRP Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing material requirements to ensure smooth production operations. The role requires strong expertise in supply chain planning, inventory management, and coordination with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective Material Requirements Planning (MRP) strategies in line with production schedules.
  • Analyze production plans, sales forecasts, and customer orders to determine material requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while minimizing excess or shortages.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to align material flow with operational needs.
  • Review, maintain, and update MRP system data (lead times, safety stock, BOMs).
  • Track and resolve material discrepancies, shortages, and bottlenecks.
  • Generate MRP reports for management and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise planning staff for effective MRP operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in MRP, production planning, or supply chain management in a textile/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production workflows.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and planning software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
