Role Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team as a Junior QA Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing mobile games on both iOS and Android platforms to identify bugs, glitches, and gameplay issues. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with developers, designers, and senior QA professionals. The role is available as a full-time position, and requires on-site attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Playtest mobile games on iOS and Android devices to detect bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies in gameplay.

  • Log detailed, clear, and reproducible bug reports using bug tracking tools.

  • Perform various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure overall game quality.

  • Provide constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics, balance, and user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and senior QA team members to align on testing goals and objectives.

  • Participate in daily stand-ups or team meetings to discuss progress and address issues.

  • Assist in creating and updating test cases and documentation to maintain comprehensive testing records.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document issues clearly and concisely.

  • Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms and their respective environments.

  • Organized and proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

  • Ideal for candidates currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in game development, computer science, quality assurance, or related fields.

Good to Have:

- Unity Knowledge:
Familiarity with the Unity development environment, including an understanding of basic game objects, assets, and scenes.

- GitHub Knowledge:
Basic understanding of version control with GitHub.

- Firebase Knowledge:
A foundational understanding of Firebase services like real-time database, and cloud functions.
