Job Title: Python Backend DeveloperAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend systems, integrating with databases, deploying and managing applications in production, and ensuring high performance under heavy traffic. A good grasp of data analytics, cleaning, and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies will be considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Django).
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data modeling, querying, and optimization.
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on cloud servers or on-prem environments.
  • Optimize backend architecture for scalability and high traffic loads.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • (Preferred) Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and analytics for supporting business insights.
  • (Preferred) Contribute to GenAI-powered applications by integrating models (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.) into backend workflows.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system performance.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Django.
  • Solid knowledge of databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Experience with server deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Nginx, Gunicorn, etc.).
  • Understanding of scaling systems to handle high traffic and large-scale data.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • (Preferred) Experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and analytics workflows (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
  • (Preferred) Exposure to Generative AI frameworks (Hugging Face, OpenAI API, LangChain, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
