Position Overview:

We're looking for a
Junior Marketing Content Specialist
with a sharp eye for research, strong storytelling skills, and a background in finance-related content creation. You'll play a vital role in driving thought leadership, writing high-quality articles, and developing impactful copy for marketing materials that resonate with finance decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on accounting, finance, and private equity topics relevant to our clients
• Write well-structured blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, website content, and email copy tailored to CFOs, controllers, and business owners
• Assist in content planning and execution for SEO, inbound, and email campaigns
• Create persuasive ad copy and landing page content that drives conversions
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to ensure all content aligns with Sagelight's brand voice and financial positioning
• Write UX copy, knowledge base articles, and email sequences where needed
• Optimize content based on performance analytics and audience behavior
• Stay updated on financial and accounting trends to craft timely and credible content

Requirements:

• Exceptional command of written English with native-like proficiency
• Strong research skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
• 1 -2 years of experience in content writing or marketing (finance-related preferred)
• Experience with SEO writing, topic research, and keyword analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• Familiarity with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) and basic SEO practices
• Ability to adapt tone and structure across channels (blogs, emails, ads, etc.)
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for out-of-the-box thinking

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to accounting or fintech products
• Experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Grammarly, SurferSEO, and Google Keyword Planner
• Basic design skills for visual storytelling (e.g., Canva or Adobe tools)
• Familiarity with performance tracking and content analytics
• Awareness of consumer psychology in copywriting and staying updated with high-conversion content trends to drive engagement and brand awareness
