Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of IT & Digitalization located in Islamabad. The Head of IT & Digitalization will be responsible for leading and managing the institution's IT and digitalization strategy, overseeing IT operations, and ensuring the effective functioning of IT infrastructure. Daily tasks include developing and implementing IT policies, managing IT staff, coordinating with other departments to understand their IT needs, and keeping up with the latest technology trends to enhance the institution's digital capabilities.
Qualifications
- Information Technology and IT Management skills
- Experience in IT Operations and IT Strategy development
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure and its implementation
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in the education sector is a plus
