About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEO Expert with proven expertise in optimizing Shopify eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and increasing sales through effective SEO strategies tailored for Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis specific to the eCommerce niche.
  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings, product descriptions, alt tags, internal linking, etc.).
  • Improve Shopify site speed, structure, and user experience for SEO best practices.
  • Manage technical SEO (crawl errors, indexing, schema markup, sitemaps, redirects).
  • Build and execute an off-page SEO strategy (backlinks, outreach, guest posting).
  • Regularly track, measure, and report website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Stay updated with Google Algorithm changes and Shopify SEO updates.
  • Collaborate with the content, design, and development team to ensure SEO-friendly practices across the website.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of SEO experience (preferably in Shopify or eCommerce websites).
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic and search rankings.
  • Proficiency in Shopify SEO apps and tools.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, GSC, and SEO reporting.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in content marketing and blog SEO strategy.
  • Knowledge of Shopify Liquid code for minor SEO customizations.
  • Familiarity with local SEO (Google My Business) if targeting a regional market.
