We are now looking for a creative and tech-savvy visual storyteller to produce engaging, high-quality video content for our marketing campaigns and social media presence.

Position Overview:

The Motion Graphics Artist & Video Editor will be responsible for creating short-form, platform-ready videos and motion graphics to promote Octacer's products, services, and success stories. This role blends creativity, marketing insight, and AI-powered production tools to deliver videos that grab attention and drive engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Editing

  • Design and animate motion graphics (intros, lower thirds, transitions, infographics, explainers).
  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content optimized for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Adapt videos for multiple formats (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Stories, etc.).
  • Add captions, animated text, and on-brand visual effects to boost engagement.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for faster production without compromising quality.

Production & Equipment Handling

  • Shoot videos when required for campaigns, events, and product showcases.
  • Operate and maintain video/photography equipment to ensure best quality.
  • Ensure all content meets Octacer's brand style and tone guidelines.

Collaboration & Marketing Integration

  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead to develop storyboards, concepts, and creative briefs.
  • Translate technical topics into easy-to-consume visual stories.
  • Keep up with current video trends, AI tools, and social media best practices.

Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have

  • Proven experience in short-form, high-engagement video content creation (portfolio required).
  • Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Motion graphics design skills for animated explainers and marketing visuals.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted and trending tools, including at least 3 of:
  • Runway ML (AI video generation)
  • Pika Labs (text-to-video animation)
  • CapCut (fast trending edits)
  • Descript (text-based editing, captions)
  • / Canva Video Suite (quick social media videos)
  • Blender or Cinema 4D (3D animation)
  • Ability to work independently from concept → shoot → edit → delivery.

Nice-to-Have

  • Drone videography & aerial footage skills.
  • Photography skills for marketing visuals.
  • Experience in creating animated infographics for tech products.

Why This Role Is Not for Everyone

This is a fast-paced, high-accountability creative role. It is not for someone who:

  • Needs constant step-by-step guidance.
  • Can only shoot or only edit — we need full-cycle production skills.
  • Struggles with deadlines or adapting to new trends.
  • Avoids experimenting with AI tools and new editing techniques.

We want someone who takes ownership, delivers marketing-ready videos quickly, and can blend creativity with technology.
