Demand Planner

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
o Make strong collaboration with merchandising team to grow sales & margin, and optimize inventory.
o Conduct Demand & Supply Planning meetings with product and Ecommerce team.
o Provide accurate forecasting & management of inventory levels, sales & promotions and sell thru.
o Prepare yearly forecasted sale of Ecommerce and share stock demand with product team.
o Help identify ageing/slow moving products to marketing and Ecommerce team for boosting and promotions.
o Ensure replenishment is done timely of the hot selling products.
o Prepare weekly inventory plan keeping in view the sales demand stock available in Warehouse.
o Forecast sales and inventory turn by month, at category level and communicate business performance.
o Develop data-driven, high-quality analysis of demand in order to keep all stakeholders informed about the current inventory levels and highlight dip/growth category wise.
o Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop statistical analysis of market trends, promo and event related analysis along with competitor analysis.
o Highlight top selling products in other websites and our retail channels to the merchandising and planning team for procurement/replenishment.
o Contribute in managing product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product transitions.
o Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets and data analysis including financial scenario analysis – must have amazing excel skills
o Aptitude for blending quantitative and qualitative data
o Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written
