Role Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Upwork Bidder to join our growing business development team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in online bidding, lead generation, and client communication with a solid understanding of IT and eCommerce services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities through Upwork and other freelance platforms.
  • Write customized, winning proposals aligned with client requirements and agency expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via messages and calls to understand project needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to estimate project timelines and prepare competitive bids.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with potential leads to maximize conversions.
  • Track and report bidding performance, conversion ratios, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through professionalism and trust.
  • Work closely with management to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive in an IT or software company.
  • Strong understanding of Web & eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposals and client interaction.
  • Ability to understand client needs and convert them into actionable opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple bids.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
