Job Summary:

The Construction Manager oversees and directs all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to approved quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and deep knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction operations from project initiation to handover.
  • Develop detailed construction schedules, work plans, and resource allocations.
  • Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to design and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality; identify and mitigate potential delays.
  • Ensure all works comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee cost control, procurement planning, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and QA/QC teams for seamless execution.
  • Review and approve construction drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and reporting to management.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues effectively and promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and site staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum
    7-10 years
    of experience in construction management, with at least
    3 years
    in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE and quality assurance standards.
